El Miso es el resultado de una conocida maduración, de aproximadamente un año de duración, de soja, sales y cereales, efectuada en grandes tinas de cedro. Este proceso da origen a una pasta oscura y sabrosísima que se utiliza principalmente junto con los dados de caldo en la preparación de sopas, salsas y condimentos varios. El Miso de Arroz, producido con soja, arroz integral y sal tiene un sabor puro e intenso.

Puede contener gluten, frutos de cáscara y cacahuetes.
Añadir al final de la cocción en sopas sin hacerlo hervir. El miso ya es salado por lo que no es necesario añadir sal en los platos que se preparen con este alimento. La eventual aparición de grumos claros en la superficie es debido a la presencia de un aminoácido (tirosina) que se desarrolla naturalmente en el miso fermentado.
