Roasted tempeh with hoisin sauce

200 g tempeh cut in triangles

Hoisin sauce

3 tbsp. smoothy peanut butter

4 tbsp. tamari

1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar

¼ tsp. ginger powder

1 grated garlic clove

1 tbsp. sesame oil

1 tbsp. rice syrup

3 tbsp. water To accompany

½ cup basmati rice

1 glass of water

½ broccoli cut into florets

Finely chopped spring onion

Steps

1. Para hacer la salsa hoisin pon un cazo al fuego con el aceite de sésamo y el ajo rallado. Cocina un par de minutos y luego añade el resto de los ingredientes de la salsa. Remueve bien para mezclarlo todo y cocina 5 minutos a fuego suave.

2. Echa la salsa hoisin sobre el tempeh cortado en trozos y deja marinar unos 30 minutos.

3. Luego ponlo en una bandeja de horno forrada con papel vegetal y ásalo a 200°C durante 20 minutos. A la mitad del proceso da la vuelta a los trozos de tempeh.

4. Mientras cocina el arroz basmati. Primero enjuágalo muy bien con agua en un colador. Pon a cocer el arroz tapado en un cazo con agua fría y una pizca de sal durante 15 minutos a fuego suave.

5. Sirve el tempeh sobre el arroz y acompáñalo con unos ramilletes de brócoli cocido. Decora con sésamo y cebolleta picada.
