Gracias a la tierra fértil volcánica de Hokkaido, las judías azukis procedentes de esta zona de Japón tienen un sabor más dulce, suave y sabroso. Son una de las legumbres más digeribles que existe y están caracterizadas por un alto valor nutricional.
